There are many benefits to having trees in the community. They add beauty, environmental wellness, enhance neighborhoods and community, and increase property values. Tree Care 101 will teach participants about proper planting and pruning techniques, and long-term maintenance for trees to prevent disease and insect infestation. The class will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 19 at City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd.
