Barnett Shale Mini-Series
Two community workshops covering Barnett Shale drilling are being offered at the Irving Central Library, 801 W. Irving Blvd.
* Texas Christian University Geology Professor John A. Breyer will explain Barnett Shale principles and how gas wells are drilled in What Lies Beneath: Drilling for Gas in Your Neighborhood at 7 p.m. April 21.
* Mark Nastri, an attorney with Munsch Hardt Kopf and Harr P.C., will offer advice for homeowners on signing a gas lease during the Look Before You Lease program at 7 p.m. April 23.
