Independence Day Parade & Firecrackers!
The city’s annual Independence Day parade will begin at 9 a.m. July 4 in downtown Irving. A parade route is posted online at www.cityofirving.org. For more information, call (972) 721-2501.
The big fireworks are back! The City of Irving and the Irving Symphony Orchestra (ISO) will present Irving’s Firecracker Fourth on July 4 in Las Colinas’ Williams Square. The patriotic concert by the ISO, under the baton of Maestro Hector Guzman, will begin at 8:30 p.m., followed by a spectacular fireworks show. Gates will open at 5 p.m. and attendees are invited to come early to enjoy music by local entertainers. For more information, call the ISO office at (972) 831-8818.
