A new health care center for Irving residents is scheduled to open in early September. A ribbon-cutting ceremony, hosted by the Irving Economic Development Partnership, will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 29. The Irving Health Center, located at 1800 N. Britain Road, will provide low- to moderate-income Irving residents with a wide range of primary and preventive dental and health-care services. This community-based health center is a joint project of the City of Irving, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Parkland Health & Hospital System, Dallas County, and Baylor Medical Center at Irving. The new facility will be operated by Parkland Health & Hospital System.
